Jake Nuno, MS, CFP®, EA

Financial Advisor

After 10 years in the financial planning field, Jake has
learned a few things about helping clients manage their money, emotions and taxes to build wealth and accomplish their life’s goals across generations. Jake’s specialty is working with young wealth builders, focused on accumulation, growth and achieving life experiences. On the other end of the planning horizon, Jake works with many of his wealth builders’ parents, specifically helping widowers through the unique challenges of transitioning into a new phase of retirement without their life partner.

Jake grew up in small town Texas and was a first-generation
college graduate. The experience of putting himself through college helped him to realize that money could be a source of anxiety for many families, including his own. He believed if he could learn to tackle managing finances, then he could take away some of the worries of life. Now his mission is to take the fear out of financial planning and provide real life solutions for the clients he serves.

Jake’s magnetic personality is a perfect fit for his podcast, Jake of All Trades, where he reviews financial articles, the economy and helpful money tips, all with the focus of helping listeners make smart choices with their money. The show was listed as a Top 10 Personal
Finance Podcast
in an article by former Forbes Magazine writer, Asia Martin, and was a finalist for the
2022 Advisor Podcast Awards by FiComm Partners and InvestmentNews.

Very active on social media, Jake uses these new media lines of communication to connect with the public and make financial advice and planning accessible, fun and easy to understand.

A graduate of Texas Tech University, Jake holds a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER,
Professional. Jake is also appointed with the IRS as an Enrolled Agent, helping clients with income tax planning and preparation. He is a licensed health and life insurance agent and holds FINRA series 7 and 66 securities
registrations.

Jake and his husband Guillermo live in San Antonio, Texas and have two fur babies; Gloria and Chachita. They enjoy travelling, gardening and watching movies. In Jake’s spare time, he enjoys singing in a local choir and proudly supporting the San Antonio LGBTQ+
